Starships in the Medj'K'Ai Nebula

Here can be found the starships used widely in the Nebula, or those which are only rarely found but are noteworthy by their appearance! Most have deckplans or overviews. Also included are links to other sites which contain good plans of ships seen in the Nebula.

The Cob Class small Cargo Shuttlewas developed for use in the Medj'K'ai Nebula, rapidly becoming endemic since its launch. Its applications vary widely, from intra-system hops, through to use as a small cargo shuttle for medium freighters, or even as a fast transport around a sparsely-populated planet such as Losshaven.

The Losshaven Engineering Corporation's freighter, the LEC LYT24D4, is a regular sight in the Medj'K'Ai Nebula. Ostensibly based on plans from the YT- series of freighters, the "Lite-twofordeefour" was expaneded to transport standard sized insterstellar containers, a few first class passengers, and a range of options in steerage or second class. With Mon Cal influence, it ended up looking more like a turtle...

For those who need a quick, ready-made crew, that for the Medj'K'Ai Queen is listed here. These guys definitely aren't heroes!

NEW! The Separatist movement's focus on droids gave rise to the Blocknose mercantile raider and assault craft, crewed and staffed mainly by droids. What few living crew there are live in cramped quarters for up to 2 months at a time, but the copious quantities of battle droids available for boarding or planetary raids make this an easily-deployable vessel.

LEC/Seinar StarGnat The StarGnat Interceptor is a very small interceptor prototype from somewhen during the Clone Wars. Seinar Fleet Systems invited Losshaven Engineering Corporation to build and field-test a few of these prototypes for them. Do the design glitches need ironing out? Naaah....

Starship Designer v2.0.2 Snapped here from the Resources page as many have found it a useful tool. The Starships of the Galaxy and the Revised Core Rulebook have a variety of rule mods to ship generation. This Excel spreadsheet (~160K in size) assists in generating starships, incorporating known rules from both plus the latest FAQ. If you haven't already, do try and get hold of Starships of the Galaxy!

Action IV by the Admiral Whilst relatively new, the Action IV freighter is a stalwart basic throughout the Nebula, being a high-capacity, flexible-load freighter used by corporates and individuals. The best plans available are by the Admiral, as shown here.
