Flight Officer Taxus McRoss Starfighter Flash, Combat Ribbon*

Starfighter: Headhunter, wishing to upgrade to a Z-95ML and swamp-coloured flashes on the wings.

A died-in-the-wool atmospheric fighter , Taxus is a cynical, hard-bitten pilot whose seen more on-wing death than he cares to discus.
Taxus was a civilian atmospheric pilot and militiaman from Key'dara, a conscript. He graduated from groundpounder to transport pilot to planetary defence, to orbital defence, to Peace Corps starfighters. Whilst technically rated for infantry work, but he's got as many flying hours as most experienced pilots.
His nickname is, sadly, Swampy (as is the nickname of many Key'darans), and he plays to it with a slate-grey/ brown/green colourscheme to his craft (where he can, though Peace Corps starfighters have a standard scheme) and a fondness for swamp-camo fatigues when not in uniform.

With the squadron tasked with sorting out the raid on one of Y'vaath Slaars personal transports, Taxus has excelled. The only kill so far amongst the new Flight Officers was achieved by Taxus - and with his beloved missiles.
