The Aethersprite was the standard Jedi starfighter and scout craft throughout the Republic, used to transport individual Jedi from system to system on their numerous errands. There are rumours of a new, combat biased starfighter being deployed to provide heavier firepower to Jedi in the Clone Wars. Nonetheless, there are still plenty of Aethersprites in the Outer Rim.

When the Jedi Training college on Keysh'kar was destroyed, a number of these were undergoing repairs in the main Keysh'kar starport or were being used by Jedi padawan on their training flights throughout the Nebula. Those Jedi who come forward to join the local Peace Corps are given the option of using an Aethersprite, particularly as new Headhunters and Darkcloaks are thin on the ground. To help them fit in with the more robust Headhunters and Darkcloaks, attempts have been made to strengthen the shield generator. However, structural alterations on this non-standard starfighter were found to be too difficult and were quickly abandoned.

Though it has no built-in hyperdrice, there are still numerous TransGalMeg rings in orbit around Keysh'kar, so finding and using one is rarely a problem. Note that the core definition of the Delta-7 comes from the Star Wars Saga rules.
