Star: GhulGhul contains only a single, usable planet, the remaining 4 planets in the system being molten planets in close orbit to the sun. The system was left alone for centuries, with only the occasional visitor, until the chance discovery within the past 20 years of copious rare minerals on th eonly inhabited planet. Planets: Ghul'kin small, super-hot, vacuum in single-face orbit.
Ghul'kindas small, super-hot, vacuum in opposite, similar, but slightly eccentric, orbit to Ghul'kin Ghul'anar Small gas Giant, 5 small moons, 1 asteroid belt. Little commercial value.
Ghul'kar High-pressure, steamy, unexplored hot-house. Ghul'arak Settled centuries ago, it is only a few years back that the planet was discovered to be rich in rare and exportable minerals. The Trade Federation moved in, buying up some farmlands and putting severe economic pressure (through blockade and embargoes) on other farmers who would not sell out but developed their own farms. Conincidentally, though the local branch of the Trade Federation claims to be independent, claiming it is the Medj'K'ai Trade Federation ("For all Medj'Kai, Enriching the Outer Rim"), after the start of the Clone Wars the MTF has managed to bankrupt the small government and has set up its own management team in key government roles. This has enabled it to systematically close down the smaller mines, ferry in off-world workers to replace the fiercely independent locals, and is enacting repressive anti-union legislation.
The population is now around 30 per cent non-human, with 40% or more of the population
off-worlders brought in from Trade Federation bankruptcy courts.
